Now it’s raining in Kerala. This is the summer rain, which is a bless to the people of Kerala, who are tired with the sunlight of summer sun. Climate of Kerala was too hot now. Normally in this time Kerala gets rain before one month. Last few years the climate has changed it’s nature. Now it is raining little lat. And the temperature is getting high in day time. Animals and birds are migrating to where they are comfort.
Farmers are suffering from draught. They are facing water scarcity in their day to day activities. They are unable to water their crops in some places. The underground water level begin to go down. So, in some areas, drinking water also in shortage. People in some area of Kerala are in queue for public water supply points to collect water.
In this situation the arrival of summer rain is a small relief to people who are suffer from these issues. Normally it rains after noon times. This is the nature of summer rain in Kerala. Even though it is a relief to people, it might be the beginning of strong draught also. Because summer season is going on its peak time up to May last. So, the upcoming days of Kerala will be more struggling to its common people.
My prayer is that “This rain might quench the thirst of the land and satisfy the needs of the people. This may bless the earth and let the greenish bloom again. The tender green and blooming flowers might be get enjoyed by summer rain’s touch. Thus the earth might get a new life at least for few days”
